The OS is the most efficient program that runs on your computer and manages system resources to optimize performances. It is a set of services which simplifies development of applications.

Linux:
Linux is an open source platform outgrowth of the Unix operating system. Linux is installed on a wide variety of computers hardware; values from embedded devices to super computers. It is used in a many computer systems, from desktop PC to Web servers. Linux Kernel is to handle the process control, networking and file system access.

Mac OS:
The first graphical user interface of the Mac OS initially developed by Apple Inc. the Mac OS to help make the machine appear more users friendly. Macintosh OS architecture also allowed for a fully Graphical OS Interface at the lowest level without command line mode.

Windows Vista:
The latest version of Windows Vista is designed to fit the way you use your PC, from web browsing at home to complicated task in the globally. Vista is a rock-solid interface designed for 32 and 64 bit computers. It is fully compatible with legacy windows applications. Vista has many new features like GUI, Visual Style dubbed Windows Aero and Multimedia creation tools.
